I just recently recieved my bruincard in the mail and am having trouble activating it online. Whenever I try to do so, I hang at the screen with the "activate" and "home" button only to see a "Processing.............please wait. This process might take up to a minute" message which then leads to a server error message a few minutes later. Here is the error message:

There was a problem with your request.

Can someone please help me out with this and is anyone else having the same problems here? Thanks in advance.

I got this message instead

I live in the LA area. Roughly 40-60 min away from UCLA to be precise. Surprisingly, I got my Bruincard in the mail July 2 when MyUCLA said that it was mailed out July 1.

@heyitsspam: Yeah, I got that same message after retrying to activate the card again. Except there was also some warning with an asterisk on it regarding activation without a SSN. But then I fiddled with the browser and cleared the cookies and ended up not seeing either messages and having the internal server error again.

I got my card yesterday and saw both messages when I tried activating. I don’t know how I received the card if there were missing information, this doesn’t really make much sense. I have orientation tomorrow, so I think I might have to go complain or something.
