bruinwalk doesn't work

I have the new aluminum macbook and bruinwalk.com doesn't work on Safari. It loads bruinwalk.com but as soon as I attempt to login or search a professor's name it says "Safari can't load the page"

Does anyone know why or have the same problem?

GOOGLE didn’t work on my friend’s macbook too -________-
I’d like to know why too.

…

well there are 2 main problems with bruinwalk

it doesn’t have a valid security certificate or something like that, so when you try to login or something it will say malicious site or something like that, so you just have to click proceed or add an exception

when you click on a professors name to go to his bunch of reviews, the page is down and can’t be found. this problem is unfixable and its because bruinwalk kind of sucks.

For the last few months, the exact error I get whenever clicking a professor’s name is:

This webpage is not available.

The webpage at https://www.bruinwalk.com/login/?next=/professors/</a> (with the department and professors name on the end of the url) might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Which means its down for some reason, and I would like to know if anyone has successfully used bruinwalk within the last 3 weeks at least or if it even works at all for anyone else.

Also, what would google not working have to do with bruinwalk not working? I’m pretty sure the problems aren’t the same since bruinwalk has been down for a ton of people and obviously google is not going to be down.

Also, after adding like two different security exceptions in firefox it gave me an error that couldn’t be passed by adding an exception which read:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to BruinWalk.

SSL peer reports incorrect Message Authentication Code.

(Error code: sslerrorbadmacalert)

The page you are trying to view can not be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

* Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

Thought the 2 cases were related since I see a bunch of Macbook + Safari issues. A lot of Facebook status updates saying “stupid Safari doesn’t let me open _________” these days.

well, i got the badmacalert on firefox on a pc, so i have no idea what its problem is

i also can’t connect on chrome either

This is really annoying. Class signups are soon and I’d like to read reviews on potential professors.

Anyone have anything to say about M.A. Stoll for Public Policy 10A?

bumping this since i got the error, too…

was working fine last night :/

Silly children, it works with Google Chrome!

uh not for everyone it doesnt

Apparently you didn’t read the posts in this thread. lol

for safari users
click on the safari menu tab and then click reset safari.
Worked for me, and just before I did that it didn’t work
