Texan Chinese male junior taking two Sciences (AP Biology and Phyics
Honors) which are my highest performing classes. Really into
Table Tennis, just started around 6 months ago, training to
become one of the Top Ten Under 18 players in Houston. Spend 15-18 hours a week on Table Tennis. I want to play for whatever University I
attend. My class rank was 7 (6.7 out of 7 weighted) but I took Comp Sci C++ over the summer because my school only offered Java, so my rank
dropped quite a bit. No national awards unfortunately :-(. My SAT scores
are projected from my PSAT (223), so not accurate. Pretty much the
average Asian Ivy League wannabe. I'm still a junior, so any advice would be nice! Be strict, don't butter me up please :-P

If you indeed score that on the SAT

Stanford University -reach
University of Pennsylvania -reach
Harvard University, -reach
Princeton University - reach
McGill University - safe match
Washington University in St. Louis - match
Johns Hopkins University - slight reach

All those schools are reaches for everyone though, your a competitive applicant

i agree with habdragon, except i think both wustl and jhu are slight reaches

Pretty much agree with habdragon and BingCold. Just a word of advice. Do not put all your eggs into the HYPMS, WashU, and Hopkins basket. There's a lot of very good schools out there that are less selective that would be happy to accept you and give you a first class education as well. Make sure you add some real matches and safeties to your list.
