andover received my scores on 1/11/06.. i have not heard anything from SSAT.

whats the logic in sending to the schools before me?

why do they make you wait 2 weeks to get it by e-mail while they send it by snail mail to the other schools immediately after they get the scores.. what gives? conspiracy theory: they want you to get the scores after it's too late to cancel sending it to a school so that A) they get the score reporting fee (if applicable) and B) you end up applying to the schools anyway since half the battle is done

Well, you must take into account that Andover must sift through thousands and thousands of papers. If you asked for your SSAT scores specifically, it would probably be an inconvenience to Andover; the one who picks up the phone will probably be more than perturbed. :D

Although I am not sure about the severity of this matter, and while it possibly may be severe enough to develop conspiracy theories, I think it's best to keep patient. :) And at this point, I am not sure if you would have the option of canceling your scores anyway. I believe you have taken the SSAT before, and you were not happy with the scores? Also, there is a slight difference in importance here; while you are eager to know your scores, for the schools, it is an official matter. I would imagine that it would be easier for the SSAT company to automatically send scores to boarding schools (which they have done for years) rather than to children who may live anywhere in the country. Just hope all goes well, blair. :D

I agree with Chaos that calling Andover would not a be a good idea. Perhaps you can be consoled with the fact that they won't be annoyed because they got them late. :)
I'm suprised that that happened to you, because I remember getting it before the schools. You might not have to wait a whole week. When I got mine, I thought it was going to be another week, and got them that day. I hope that happens for you. :)

..thanks, kitty (i feel so weird calling you kitty, lol. it gives me the creeps. it makes me feel like a lonely cat lady or something ahhaha.. i'll call you PK?) i'm actually not anxious at all to get my scores.. i just don't see the logic, which was my point in posting.

my ssat account says that my scores will be released on the 16th, i live in CT, does anyone know the like mail speed or whatever. or how long it will take for me to get my scores....
