so which professor is better at chem6c?
i read both professors' reviews and they seem equal...
so who is a better lecturer/easier?
thx

I’m taking Johnson right now for 6B. She is a great lecturer, in that she explains everything really clearly AND uses the new video podcast. But her tests are crazy hard. We just took our second midterm today, and she even said that she expects the class average to be about 55%.

Therefore, I’m choosing Brydges over Johnson for 6C next quarter.

ya i have johnson for 6b too
that midterm was hell…
but i thought brydges and johnson are equally hard?

my friend has brydges and doesn’t understand why she has such a rep for being super difficult. the tests apparently are not that hard, and the any difficult ones are easy enough to figure out (as opposed to kummel’s tests, for which you need to do all the practice tests to have any hope of getting difficult ones right)

however, johnson has a huge curve at the END of the quarter to make up for her killer tests :o so a lot of people end up with good grades anyway! no worries!

UCSD kids in general just think that chemistry is hard, lol.
