Congrats, wok the line!

i got mine too! i love it, everything from the button to the note!

SAT: 770 V, 740 M, 770 R
SAT IIs: 790 Spanish, 760 US History, 690 Math
GPA: 3.1-ish weighted (B-average)
Rank: Bottom quarter of graduating class, one D+, several Cs throughout high school (but I do attend one of the best high schools in the country and I think I was the only applicant so it evens out somewhat I'm hoping)
ECs: Various sports, recycling club, Sunday school teacher, marching band, school president

Any word on how many are ultimately accepted from the waitlist/advice on wooing admissions?

According to last year's common data set, 385 were waitlised; 209 accepted; 16 admitted. Could vary widely year by year though, I'd think.

Do you guys have an idea of the amount of applicants this year?

How many people approximately did they accept this year?

For how many of you guys is Bryn Mawr your first choice? I need financial aid (and they're working with me on that) and though Scripps gave me a lot of aid in grants, I really think I want to be at Bryn Mawr.
Only Wellesley could beat it, probably. :)

Wait shanabelle, Scripps gave you decisions already!?!?!?!?

Aaaaaah.

Yeah, but I'm sure you'll be fine. Bryn Mawr and Scripps are a lot alike in what they look for.

Oh yeah I forgot to add my SAT scores...

710 (Math) 750 (CR) 600 (Writing)
SATIIs: 800 (Korean with listening) 700 (Math 2) 740 (Math 1)

Decision: Waitlisted
and this is supposed to be one of my safeties... oh well, i already got other acceptance letters so not too worried.

Uh, I got in like, a few days ago.

Decision: Accepted :D
Date Recieved: Saturday, March 25
GPA: 90-point-something
Extra Curricular Activities (including what leadership positions): Newspaper editor, literary magazine, lots of community service goodies, Prefect
Location: California, but I attend boarding school in NJ
Any other important factors: I'm moving to TX as I write this, so I guess I might have been considered a TX resident. I wrote each school a letter requesting to send my decisions to TX.
Awards Won: Uh...Best Dressed Senior?
Race/ethnicity: White
Others: Nothing, I suppose.

I agree that the board isn't really in the spirit of Bryn Mawr.

Seems to me that however members of the Class of 2010 may express themselves, those expressions are, by definition, in the spirit of Bryn Mawr. These women ARE Bryn Mawr.
