Hi @BMCStemStudent – I can see that you’re trying to help in a way, but I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to help in that you’ve already posted this information in an easy-to-find location. If you continue to post this, I may begin to think you’re less helpful and more vindictive. This thread is mainly for people to feel good about their acceptances.
We are sorry if this feels vindictive. We certainly don’t mean it to be so. We are happy for everyone who is happy about their acceptances. Many of us were also overjoyed when we were admitted to Bryn Mawr. Due to misinformation about the College, though, we became frustrated after we arrived at Bryn Mawr. We simply hope that students who choose Bryn Mawr as much information as possible so that they can make an informed choice. A college acceptance is certainly something to celebrate, but is also the start of a very important decision. We’re abstain from posting any further in this thread, though. Again, we congratulate everyone who has been admitted – as we note in our post, despite issues, we do love Bryn Mawr.
It does appear that @BMCStemStudent created the account solely to make multiple similar posts trashing a BMC department.
Hello, for the accepted students, did any of you receive a physical acceptance packet in mail? My DD has not received a physical acknowledgement yet.
@outthedoor Yes, it showed up in the mail yesterday.
My D’s also just came yesterday. It was postmarked March 23 and looked like it had been through a battle. The paper inside was fine though.
