Since my SAT/ACT scores are pretty low, do I even have a chance?

With your class rigor and ECs you should definitely try. What about SAT subjects? Try retaking those standardized tests ASAP

You should definitely apply to Bryn Mawr. It’s a terrific school and you seem like a strong candidate. A year or so ago Bryn Mawr became “test flexible” which means they accept a variety of combinations of SAT, Subject, ACT scores. Check the admissions part of the website for the details.

Good luck!

Thanks, y’all. Are there any other schools like Bryn Mawr I should consider? I really like the school, but I’m not sure I’m ready for the “intense” atmosphere of the place.

Certainly try to get those scores up, but other than that I think you’re a solid applicant!
Are you only open to all-girl schools? Maybe look at Mt. Holyoke or Smith.
Maybe also check out Dickinson, you may find it slightly less “academically intense,” but still a very strong school, or other PA colleges (like it).
Still, I think you have a shot at Bryn Mawr, especially if you get those score up.
Best of luck to you, liveandlearn.

I’m definitely open to going to a co-ed school. Thanks for the suggestions!
