I've been accepted to six colleges and have narrowed down my choices to these two. What are the advantages of each? Disadvantages? I'm currently leaning towards Smith, but any information about either of the colleges would be a great help.

I'm planning on majoring in East Asian Studies, and perhaps minoring in Psychology, English, Government, or IR.

Since I've fallen off the first page, bump...

Bryn Mawr is very good in East Asian Sttudies, Psychology, and English.

BMC is very good in East Asian Studies? I know that it's a joint dep't with Haverford and also Swarthmore (for certain topics), but Smith has its EAS dep't all on campus.

I was also accepted to both (but eventually decided to go to UCLA) but I would have preferred BMC because it's muuuuuuch closer to Philly and other colleges than Smith is. Even though Northampton is a cool town, I just think the distance to Boston is just too much. It's totally up to you though, I suppose.

But either way both schools have great academics, comfy dorms, and a nice environment and such. I would chose mostly by the location & your own preference!
