@mrnephew dislike the weather? well thats a first

@mrnephew I’m Singaporean but I live in China unfortunately…

@saylty which country do you live in? I live in Asia, too:S

Haha, I guess it is.

Well, it makes people so lazy over here. And it’s better to be cold needing to be warm than hot needing to be cool. And I like the mountains better than the beach. Snowboarding > Surfing

Why is that unfortunate? @boardingschoolx

@mrnephew in these parts, pollution is prevalent. One of the major reasons why I’m applying to boarding school in the U.S. is because the air here is horrible. In China, face masks are necessary. There’s no time for fashion when you’re slowly developing lung cancer with every breath.

@mrnephew Are you a member of the Class of 2018?

Ah, that is unfortunate.

@mrnephew 'Tis my life.

I’m Class of '17. I’m a freshman right now.

@mrnephew So you’re applying for junior year?

Sophomore, actually.

@mrnephew hahaha I meant sophomore year. I’m bad with American HS terminology, sorry.

Yeah, it’s weird. When I first moved from Korea, I wondered why ninth graders weren’t called juniors.

We are in Ethiopia 7 hours ahead so it is almost 8 am here

Pretty early. What schools did you apply to?

@boardingschoolx i live in sg but not sgaporean

That’s another interesting circumstance.

@boardingschoolx I live in China as well, and sadly in the most polluted part of the country. My parents are always taking about moving back to America because of the air pollution.

I hope you get into a BS, @M10anticipation .
