Despite doing well on the SSATs, I think they’re really unfair.
It’s like asking a monkey and a fish to climb a tree and comparing them to each other.
Then again, it has already been mentioned in this thread that life isn’t fair.
But the LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL side of me goes off on a rant every once in a while :P

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” -Albert Einstein

Go Albert.

Einstein for the win.
Unfortunately, the US Board of Education is yet to heed his advice.

Here’s a species of fish that can climb.
It’s sad I have this link readily available.

^ Awesome! And it’s not weird at all!

Wow! That kind of contradicts my point…
WHATEVER, it’s symbolism.

My random fact gathering has finally proven to be relevant (:

Looks like AmbiD77 has been avoiding this thread to post stats.

It’s a personal preference. For some, this thread might infringe on their personal privacy, or perhaps they just don’t want to compare themselves against others. I’ll attest to the fact that this thread can make you feel less-than-adequate.

@CellyZ plus a point for you.

@CellyZ: I can also attest to that conjecture ;-)

@PxAlaska
Plus a point? I’m not sure how to interpret that, but I’ll just hope it’s a compliment!

Hahaha it means like gold star for you because well. That was good

Recommendations:
My math one was probably good but my english teacher really didnt like me until winter term.

What do you mean by that?

Inside out?

My favorite subject is not math. I dont play 50 musical instruments. I am actually decent at sports. I do play guitar; not piano or cello. I am not introverted like most Asians. I suck at video games. I stopped watching pokemon and yugioh. I did not get a 99 math ssat. Basically, I’m the opposite of a stereotypical asian. Hopefully that helps me out lol.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!! Wait I just read “hopefully that helps me out”… Actually as far as I’ve seen, most of us enjoy English and other things more than math. Oops.

@dennis236629: As PxAlska said, welcome to the club! Most of us posters are avid writers, dancers, athletes, etc.

Isn’t it strange how, in order to escape stereotypes and conforming to them, we go to the other extremity? And now, being a sporty, non mathy, non musical Asian is not uncommon-but still, most of us believe that it is! Isn’t that funny?
