<p>Yay, I joined a new club! Could I put this “club” on my applications hahaha jk. I figured after applying to A/E last year and totally getting rejected, I would go against the flow of asians applying to big name schools.</p>

<p>@bsroxmysox: Stop implying that you’re less than the awesome genius you are! In fact, if you’re confused, it’s because I just naturally write things in a confusing style!</p>
<p>So what I meant was that: It’s funny how a lot of Asians are becoming more sporty, less mathy, and less musical in order to differentiate them from the other “Asians” who are mathy, etc. But now, if you think about it, both versions are very common now-so it really doesn’t differentiate them at all. </p>
<p>So the lesson is: Do the things you’re passionate at! Don’t do things just to “differentiate” yourself from others. That’s just pointless. ;)</p>
<p>Being honest, I think we have a more select group of people (i.e., the writing, dancing, athletic Asians) because we’re the type of people who’d be on these sites. In reality, I believe the math loving, textbook applicants won’t be found posting on this site.</p>
