Congrats, @SevenDad and family! How nice to be done!
As far as BS submitting transcripts and all, how hard can it be? I thought it was all done electronically these days. I believe my kids’ school did/does it through Naviance. I’m sure there is stuff to upload and such, but it shouldn’t be too cumbersome.
Congrats @SevenDad
@SevenDad congratulations!!
Hooray!!! Congrats to 7D2!!!
Congrats @SevenDad Don’t forget about the BS peeps after matriculation. March Madness research is next
Congratulations @SevenDad and 7D2!
Congratulations @SevenDad and 7d2!!
Thanks all! As I’ve noted previously, 7D2’s process was on an accelerated timeframe due to her being an athletic recruit.
Fingers crossed that the rest of the CC BS Class of 2018 has great options come ED and RD decision notification-time!
Congrats @SevenDad!

@SevenDad Congratulations!
Congrats!! Are you saying where she is going?
@sunnyschool: Not publicly!
Any other rolling decisions come in for Class of 2018? Or are most of you waiting for Dec 15 notification day?
Anyone (besides GMC2918) have a kid who chose not to do ANY rolling or ED applications? <— I think that is very rare in BS world, as CCs seem to (at least in our experience) advise kids to have at least one rolling/EA app to likely in the mix to take the pressure off.
Well, GMCkid does have one rolling app in the mix, but she hasn’t submitted it yet
She is very intent on a dual-degree program which does not offer an ED/EA option, and conducts interviews in February. It’s a reach, but her other top choices are ED, not EA, so she didn’t feel that she could commit to one of those if she got in. Her CC did recommend applying to the rolling admit, and was quite clear about the “risk” that she was taking by not applying ED to one of the other schools on her list. Ultimately though, this program that she wants is a great fit for her, and her CC has been incredibly supportive. No one from Cate has applied before, so it has required a bit of extra leg-work for the College Office, but they have been great about it. I know that 12/15 will be tough for her, but she has gone into this with eyes wide open.
Fingers crossed for all of you!!!
Can I ask - did your students have most of the applications done before returning to school for Senior year, or have quite a bit to do in the fall? This is my biggest worry…with apps not being available until 8/1 and returning to school in late-August, that does not leave much time for completing the applications.
