Hey CCers!

After taking a macroeconomics class and doing some research, I've grown to love Economics!
I am a freshman (second semester!) at UCF, and here they offer a BA and BS in Economics. (The BA must be acommodated with a minor).

I was wondering what are some pros and cons of doing either?

Currently, I have a marketing internship with a high-profile internet company based in San Francisco, and have a 3.47 GPA. (Still working on that GPA!)

If I choose the BS, I know that I will have more accounting and general business classes. However, if I take the BA, I will be focusing on more economic theory, and I can pick up more Computer Science to make up for lack in quantitative and analytic courses. Also the BA would be easier on my GPA (which I think is pretty low right now).

I am interested in working in a Big Four firm, and/or going to Grad School. (Either a MBA or continue studying Economics)

I'm not asking for people to "decide for me", but I would like some extra information and guidance of what to look out for!

Are there some pros/cons I'm missing?
What do you think?

Thanks everyone! Appreciate it!
