B's in Junior year!! How will this hurt my chances?

I have been getting all A's until my Junior year, and I'm so worried that this is going to hurt my application A LOT! I took all IB and AP classes last year and worked really hard for every single class, but in combination with my adrenal fatigue and my little cousins visiting us for a whole year with their super loud playing in our tiny house, I could not keep my grades up and got 3 B+'s out of 7 classes...I am so devasted because junior year is the year colleges look at the most and they want consistancy in grades...what should I do? I reall really REALLY want to go to Wellesley but now I'm not sure if I will get in because of this.
Please read my stats and tell me if I still have a chance...thanks so much

In my essay I wrote about how I taught myself english before I came to America

extra info (might or might not help in overall application, in essay maybe haha):
first generation immigrant (came to the US at 14)
neither of my parents speak English so I assume all family responsibilities (bills, insurance papers, etc)

I think you should be fine just keep working hard. What schools are planning on applying too?

My top choice is Wellesley (ED)
and then I’m also applying to UChicago, UMiami, George Washington, American, UFlorida, Agnes Scott, and Bryn Mawr.
I really want to go to Wellesley though hahaha it’s my ultimate dream school

“B”'s never help when your working for A’s, but welcome to being human… Your in the middle of the stats that Wellesley looks for and they consider “Character” to be very important. Being a FG won’t help much. Don’t blame anything on your cousins or anyone else. Don’t mention National High School Scholars Honors Society on applications (not impressive). Good luck and keep your options open because at this level it’s always a roll of the dice… Don’t forget to figure out $$$…

ncmentor, sorry if it came out as if I was blaming on my cousins, I love them, but I was just trying to explain my situation~
but thanks for your advice!

^ no need to apologize… Cousins (and all family) can be a two way street. I just wanted to remind you to not use excuses on your application. You don’t need them…

Always remember that _________ (insert name of school here) is just a school…

ncmentor, thanks for the advice, haha yeah I wouldn’t put that on my app, the mentioning of the situation is only CC exclusive :)
