Hello everyone. My roommate would like to know your opinions on how useful a degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management would be. Currently he is a Business Admin/Management major. He is a new student so he wouldn’t be losing any credit hours swapping over.
He has a few years of work experience in Warehousing/Distribution so that is a plus. Actually enjoyed it.
Since it’s both a type of “management” he thinks with a BS in Operations and SCM he could also be qualified for whatever a straight Business Admin graduate would be qualified for job wise. I’m really not sure about that. I feel like it would. He just doesn’t want an SCM degree to pigionhole him in a specific job/industry if things go south. The broadness and versatility of a Business Admin degree is what keeps him going back and forth.
So I defer to you guys.
