BS/MD alot of Programs help me pick!!

Hello!

I am applying to several BS/MD programs, (8) but I am also applying to 8 regular undergraduate schools...This is rather tough to accomplish as I have noticed due to the extra work I have to do for ever BS/MD...

My stats are
2170 sat
1440 sat
3.65 UW
4.38 W
500+ hours working at NIH
several science math related clubs + several leadership positions

List:
VCU
Wayne St.
Lehigh Drexel
UMKC
Drexel Drexel
BU
Pennstate/Jefferson
Case West.

HELP ME PICK :( also which ones can I apply to + have a strong chance of getting an interview + USE COMMON APP?

bump1ochar

BU, Penn State, and Case are slightly more competitive. Applying to them all isn’t a bad idea though, they are all tough and your stats are average (your SAT is okay, but a 3.65UW seems very low). Look up Common App for each program on your own.

I don’t have the experience to chance you as DS is applying to schools now. As far as the common app, VCU does NOT use the common app but Drexel does - DS is applying to both of those.

3.65uw is low for bs/md. I am not saying do not apply. I am saying, have realistic expectations. You are going against many 4.0uw and they are not accepted to every bs/md that they apply. In regard to extra work, everybody is in the same boat.

Does Drexel have a good program for BS/MD?? I never really heard much about it.

Apply to the Villanova/Drexel program. It’s the best one out of the three drexel programs because it’s not located in the middle of no where (lehigh) and you actually have a campus (unlike drexel undergrad).

However, your GPA is too low to meet the technical requirements for any of the drexel programs (Villanova’s min. GPA is 3.8 with the average matriculated UW GPA somewhere around a 3.95). With that being said, the drexel programs look for more than just the sat scores and GPA so feel free to apply anyway.

Also, your SAT score is a bit low. Although the min. requirement is ~1360, the average SAT score of matriculated students is approximately 1500/1600. The average GPA and SAT scores for accepted students is higher than what I posted for matriculated students.
