I did a lot of other clubs but they don’t seem worth mentioning, and might actually detract from my application

Experience:

-A lot of hospital shadowing, clinic shadowing, neurosurgery shadowing (Top 3 in the country)

-NIH SIP
Hopefully will complete publishable research

-United Nations Internship

Essay: probably 7/10, I’m not that good at writing

Hello I am also an asian who is trying to do BS/MD! Your scores are great…! I was also a founder and president of HOSA at my school for three years. At this point, for you, you should show something that will make you stand out from everyone else? (Essays are super important I heard) Good luck!

How on earth did you get an internship at the United Nations. They are usually exclusively reserved for college or grad students?

@PartyNextDoor NYC metro area high schools usually have about 5 kids interning there per year (as far as I’m aware)

I think you got a good shot at the Rutgers and Penn State BSMD programs judging from your ECs and stats. Brown PLME is a reach but not out of range. Chance me back?

You should look at George Washington University! They have a superb BS-MD program from what I have heard from others! Good luck in your search!
