Hey–for those of you who received the Cincinnati interview, were you able to fill out the “Interview Questionnaire” to submit additional information after submitting your preferences for interviews? I submitted my dates and preferences and I didn’t see the questionnaire anywhere.

Someone told me if you are applying to AMC, you pay multiple fees for mutliple undergrad colleges but interview only once at AMC.

It woud make sense that you also apply once, write your essays only once etc while you pay multiple fees. Has anyone checked with AMC?

I think the questionnaire comes after you confrim your interview date for ccincinnatti

Does anyone know when the University of Rochester releases REMS interview decisions?

I heard they come first week of February.

Hey guys!

I found out this week that I got an interview with Boston U. I’ve read somewhere that they interview 80-100 and take 40-50. Is this true? Also, does anyone know what the interview is like? I’ll be heading up there Feb. 13th :)

@longlegs makes no sense writing a new 1000 character about yourself essay for AMC because it is reviewed by the same people.

@mk8077 its a stress free process this year (next yr they are going to switch to Mini-medical interview process which is much more intense) - a group activitiy, followed by a one-on-one interview which will last for about 30 mins. They also serve Pizza for the kids and take them on a tour. Ask you child not to worry - my son was very stressed out as well - but he enjoyed it. Interview will be largely based on the college. If your child is through Sienna, I suggest she prepares to answer question about what ever Sienna’s program emphasis is (service?). My son who did RPI - AMC, was asked about research etc.

What do they want to see for the “about yourself” essay in the first place? Devotion to medicine? Education? Service? Or just a total overview?

^i have no idea… i wrote mostly about me and a little bit about my passion in medicine they rejected me pre-interview for union/amc.

This is Siena, they give you an interview but make you fill out the form now.

how many people get invited to interview at albany per college (union, sienna, rpi etc) and how many seats do they have? SO how many students get admitted?

i heard 100 interviewees per program, and anywhere from 20-35 get selected

Siena is interviewing 46/450 applications, those stats are wrong.

I’ve heard 100 total are interviewed

Did anyone apply to u Toledo bioengineering bs md?

Most of the stats I am reading here are wrong. The exact numbers from 2012 were:
90 interviewed (almost equal numbers from Union/Sienna/RPI). 60 offered admission - out of which 45 joined. It seems after 3/4 year BS, about 30 to 36 enter AMC (a few drop out due to various reasons). These stats are directly from the sheet that was in the information packet.

oh thanks, by the way, which information packet @matrix007

thanks matrix! I’m kinda glad to hear that the numbers are actually better for interviews. I wanna know, too, what info packet? in my email it said 100 interviews, but that was it.

Butterfli can u tell me what u wrote in ur second union essay when it said to describe urself?
