<p>The Rice/Baylor interviews are announced only after after rice admission notifications come out in mid to late march.</p>

<p>Rice does award many merit scholarships. I can’t tell you how they decide who to give them to or how much. I assume they give some to each department. The attached document shows the various levels if you go past the financial aid page. I know a few people who got national merit and high test scores receiving half a tuition. My kid was given one last year as a biomed applicant. </p>

<p>I think her non medical EC’s are helping a lot</p>
<p>36 ACT + 800 SAT II scores + 4 Yrs of Hospital EC + 2 yrs of cancer research + 6 years of non medical EC (Local community works, TV Show (got state award) and 4 yrs of state Gov leadership council) </p>
<p>This week she received rejection from her top choice school Case Western Reserve!!

<p>So far she got 4 rejections and 7 interviews </p>
<p>(2 rejections from Albany @#%#%@^ after taking 3 app fees)</p>
<p>@KLM123 has your daughter attended any of her interviews yet? If so, do you have any advice for them because I have my Siena/AMC interview this thursday and I’m really nervous.</p>
