"Does anyone know when Rice/Baylor and Brown PLME interviews come out? "

No interviews for Brown.

Rice/Baylor - only after you are admitted to rice first.

@NKB747 My son has not heard back from either RPI or AMC. I was told that the RPI admission letter will accompany AMC acceptance if he makes it. It was open file interview and the interviewer knew ever single detail about him (minute details). Interviewer had actually read his research abstract and hence did not focus on it - rather he wanted the scoop on his personal interests, acitivities, interest in accelerated program etc. Interviewer also spend time describing AMC teaching style etc. My son was very impressed at how cordial the interview was.

@sjshah RPI will not forward your application to AMC unless they are satisfied with your research experience. So if you have received the interview call, I would say, you have enough and more for being selected for this program.

Does it matter how many interviews we get to get into a program… I had 3 undergrad and 2 med school and that’s it? I just got accepted to njit/sgu program for 7 yrs… But I’m waiting for u toledo and umkc… Ugh I hope all of us get into one at least …

Can someone tell me interview format for NJMS and NorthWestern? Do you have any tips which you can pass along?

Thanks

Anyone know what to expect for the Pitt (GAP) interview? I had my UConn one last week. Only applied to UConn and Pitt, kind of surprised that I was offered interviews at both. Does Pitt also do group interviews?

Congratulations Desigirl!

Congrats Desigirl!

"My NU/hpme interview was a disaster, so counting on Brown and WashU now. " @Sunitacarmen,
Why do you think it was a disaster? Can you shed some light on the interview process based on your experience?

Congrats Desigirl !

Thank u Texas and anxious do u guys know about njit/sgu

@matrix007 - thank you for the info on Albany interview

@ sunitacarmen

Congratulations!

Could you please post your stats?

Many thanks!

@desigirl I believe that NJIT/SGU excludes you from continung in the NJMS program, but it is still a great option to have that guarantee. Congrats!

Thanks but I’m hoping for u toledo and umkc thebombingrange wish me luck!

Do u think njit/sgu is good?

I was reading up on NJIT/SGU. The main issue usually with foreign medical schools is whether their rotations work out in US and whether they are properly organized.

You also want to know where people have been getting residencies.

How many people are being enrolled in the program? Is NJIT issuing the diplomas by the time you graduate?

With NJIT NJMS you graduate and get your diploma 3rd year. Idk about SGU. Still nice to say you are in medical school though.

Well for njit sgu the rotations are guaranteed and a lot of graduates from sgu get into top specialties unlike other fmgs… I’m just worried whether getting 3 points lower than the average mcat is easy? That is the minimum requirement… As well as 3.4 in njit… Sgu from what I heard is really good but I’m just waiting for umkc and u toledo. U toledo accepts 10/15 they interview

That’s the same thing with njit/sgu too thebombingrange
