*** BS/MD Interview Notification for Class of 2014***

GW rejection just arrived. Strange timelag. Ah well.

@SLCMom- Sorry about the rejection. Good luck with the other programs!

Starlight27- Congrats on NJMS. Did you receive an email this morning?

@Shanny101- Thanks! And yeah, right at noon. It looks like their doing it rolling though.

Also recieved an interview from NJMS. I recieved them from Rutgers/NJIT which is wierd because Dr. Shevlin said he would forward my application to the medical school…

Maybe the medical school picks 2 schools for you to attend? I don’t know…

Anyway I’m happy for what I recieved and congrats to @starlight27 and everyone else who recieved an interview today.

nobody got GW interview offered this week? I have only heard rejections so far , no acceptances.

Still havent heard back yet! I guess thats a good thing if no one’s gotten accepted this week so far?..

Received an interview from NJMS through NJIT today.

@starlight27 Don’t worry, I still haven’t received any word from Rutgers, so I’m hoping there is just some sort of delay and not a rejection lol

@MedicalBoy- thanks! Congrats to you too!

@thejerseygirl- Congrats!

I talked to Rutgers, they said that they are conducting interviews through mid-February. Talked to NJMS as well, and they said that if Rutgers decides to forward my app (by the time they do that, it’ll be after my NJMS interview), they’ll just add Rutgers to the list of ugs I can attend if I’m accepted. MedicalBoy, I’m sure when they receive your forwarded TCNJ app they’ll do exactly that. And thejerseygirl, same goes to you for Rutgers. Good luck guys! :)

Sorry about all the rejections with GW, S decided not to apply at the last minute. Looks like he saved few bucks for me.

@starlight27
Thank you, and congrats!

Congrats also to everyone who will be interviewing with NJMS and best of luck!

I just called Kean and they said if im accepted to undergrad then im in the program…is that true? They said after two years i take an exam and if i pass it , im accepted to Drexel… Is that true? Or am I suppose to interview with Drexel first? And did anyone get a separate notification from Kean saying their application has been forwarded to Drexel?

MedicalBoy, thejerseygirl and starlight27- congrats on NJMS interview invite. Good Luck!!

What a great thread! My daughter received an e-mail from Drexel for an interview thought Lehigh. She had already been contacted for an interview through Villanova so its nice she found out before the interview.

@medicalboy, @thejerseygirl, and @starlight27, I have a question regarding njms. If you had gotten an njms interview through njit, and you just did the tcnj interview recently (so no news from them yet), and you did the interview but you got rejected from njms for the njit spot…. does that mean you are no longer considered for tcnj or other undergrad school medical programs with njms?

njxcdrmom
When did you receive the email from Drexel on the Lehigh part?

@CAJ2014 I recently received a letter from the TCNJ program stating that I had been rejected for the TCNJ/NJMS program. However, today I got an interview at NJMS for the program through NJIT. So to answer your question, if you got rejected through one of the undergrads, I don’t think that necessarily means that you’re rejected at NJMS completely. There’s always hope!

Just got an invitation through Drexel (undergrad) to interview at DUCOM. I’m scheduled for the same day as the Villanova/Drexel interview, so hopefully I have options. Will anyone be interviewing there on February 1st?

Just received the Villanova HPA rejection by e-mail. Only so many programs left.

@CAJ2014

I believe if you are rejected from the undergrad college you have a chance to still compete for the other programs. But if you got rejected from NJMS, I think that’s it.

@coloredenigma

Was that directly from Villanova or from DUCOM? If it was from Villanova, you might still have a chance for the other programs affiliated with DUCOM
