OMG I can’t BELIEVE IT~that’s so close! If I get an HPME interview, I will do a happy dance ^.^ Have you guys tried contacting HPME lately? I tried calling last Thursday and left a voice-mail with my email and phone number but haven’t gotten a response T_T Are they very busy this time of year, confirming interview recipients and such? </p>
<p>@IMGDAD I think it was just one of those general calls about UG acceptance. My 12 yr D said that they said something like congratulations on his acceptance etc. I don’t think it was the DUCOM I think it was UG. Darn but we also realized after he applied that we really couldn’t afford it.</p>
<p>@AspringStudent- I called HPME on Friday (maybe last Thursday, I don’t remember tbh) and went straight through- they told me at that time that interview notifications are coming out over these next 3 weeks. If I were you I would call them again. They were probably just busy when you called. </p>
<p>How do you check Drexel med status? Did you get an email saying to check your email? </p>
<p>@actsat2400- For Drexel med I just got an email saying that I was selected to interview, but a while back they gave everyone info to access the Drexel Portal. I think that’s what Midhelper is referring to. </p>
<p>@actsat2400 no email but since we got some call from UG we thought to log in the undergrad portal and check. IF you scroll down where it used to say your application is still being considered for the accelerated program - that part has changed to we are unable to offer you admission to the accelerated program.
Now I am feeling a bit upset about the $160 - what a sore loser huh?</p>

<p>Oh, how do you know that the “we are unable to offer you admission to the accelerated program” is correct? Like what if it’s not up to date? I would understand that being a reliable source if Drexel Med told you to look there for your status </p>
<p>I would think that Drexel med would tell you to check the portal or something, cause they cant have thousands of people confused, not knowing where to check if they got in or not </p>

<p>@actsat2400 no we did not get anything from DUCOM but that used to say you are still being considered for the accelerated program before and it doesn’t now. It seems pretty definitive to me. We also didn’t get an email for an interview today but I guess they could be sending that out in batches…but we are done with Drexel. My S even did a music audition with them and was recommended and everything. Oh well. 1 down out of 3</p>

<p>Drexel portal would only be for Drexel UG. You would have to check with Kean or DUCOM directly for other routes. By the way even the 4+4 programs are under the “accelerated” category on their website.</p>

<p>I was rejected for Villanova as well! Surprised like others because I thought it was one of the easier programs to get an interview for…Good luck to everyone who got one! I also thought I didn’t stand a chance for a interview at BU but I got a call! If anyone is still waiting to hear back, don’t give up! They also don’t call at specific time or day… Mine was around mid day on a Saturday which is pretty random. Does anyone know how many of the people BU interviews get accepted? Also, my Drexel portal has no mention of rejection for the med program or “decision about the accelerated program you applied to” either. What could this mean? </p>
