In my view, 6 year program is very stressful if an MCAT requirement has to be met. There is no reason work that hard.

Anyone hear from Sophie Davis or Brooklyn BA/MD?

I personally didn’t apply to Penn state for the 6 year just because it was 6 years. 2 years too short. College is an experience one shouldn’t miss, and 3/4 years is fine, but 2 is just overboard. And having to take the MCAT means that ur gonna be studying as soon as u enter in the 6 year

@collegekid29- Brooklyn said they would notify us a week from the interview but I still haven’t heard from them, so hopefully we’ll hear by Friday.

Accepted to VCU/GAP!

Accepted to VCU GMed as well! Any thoughts PSU/Jeff vs VCU so far? Still waiting on other options!

@starlight27 - Any school that gives me an admission and a scholarship to their combined program will trump all others. UCSD would be nice because I am in-state (obviously).

Congrats to everyone accepted into the VCU GAP program. Good job!

congrats to VCU acceptances

@starlight27 Hopefully Brooklyn comes out Friday. Very stressed.

Can someone please suggest which program is better or which one would you choose VCU GMED or SBU GWU?

Congratulations to those accepted VCU.
@nickwildhawks I am not sure about the 2 programs but if GWU is the George Washington program - weren’t they on probation a few years back?

Whichever is better for you financially. I am not certain there is much difference.

Congratulations to everyone who got into the VCU GMED program!

@eastcoast96, I do not think anyone would give up PSU/Jefferson in favor of VCU Gmed. In previous years’ threads, I have seen Drexel vs VCU, but not PSU vs VCU.

Congrats to all the acceptances to date! Hang in there the rest who are still waiting…

@collegekid29 . Brooklyn ba-md decision are out. my son is in waiting list…

Anyone know if Miami HPM gives scholarships? Llike not the singer scholarship but the regular one. Like scholarships without having to apply for them

Miami offers merit scholarships as a function of SAT Scores/GPA on all applicants to their undergrad program. If you apply to Miami, you are an automatic applicant for merit.

oh ok thank you very much, would you know what those SAT scores/GPA requirements are? Or know where I could find them?
