wait! i JUST talked to someone from drexel and she said this: "its a long story.... all the applicants were just so excellent and qualified the med school is deliberating longer...some people were sent letters on the 31st while others are yet to be sent....no news is good news! good luck ! bye!"
soo..i guess more waiting.

I was wait listed in March and the letter said that I would hear around the 15th, but I got an email (from Catherine at Drexel Undergrad) saying that I should hear by the 1st. I just got my letter of acceptance yesterday. It was dated as April 1st though. Hope this info helps!

GOOD LUCK!

^ wow that was weird! you were waitlisted before and what exact date? how long did it take from the waitlisted period to the acceptance day? congrats, are you going?

It makes you wonder what takes them so long to get the decision letters out in the mail after the decision has been made. When I called on April 4th, they said they made a decision, and it's April 9th and still no letter as to what decision was made. I guess they enjoy leaving us hanging. ;[

Congrats though silverairchild.

when i interview at drexel med, they told me all students hear by march 15th at the latest.
i got a letter march 17-19 (don't remember) saying i was waitlisted. i was required to sign a paper saying i was willing to accept the waitlist. then i received an email from catherine (around the 25-28th of march) saying i would hear back by the 31st of march
i got a letter on the april 7th (dated april 1st though) saying i was accepted. the acceptance letter is in a full sized envelope (9x12?) with only two sheets of paper.

congrats!!!!! :)
hm..well i just got back from a 4 day school trip and theres nothing in the mail from drexel. for people who have not yet received a letter of any sort, did you get something between the interview and catherine's email?
