I’m going to be applying to bs/md programs in the fall. I was wondering if you apply to a school’s bs/md program and you are rejected from the program, could you still be accepted as a regular undergrad. Or does it lower your chances of being accepted as a regular undergrad? There are some bs/md programs I’m applying to which I would actually like to go to their undergrad even if I was rejected from their med program.
That is something that you can ask the admissions offices at each place. It really is OK for you to ask! Each place sets its own policies, and those can change from one year to the next, and you want the correct, current information.
I believe it doesn’t affect your chances of admission to the actual college as it’s kind of a supplemental application in of itself. Hope that helps!
It may vary–I honestly don’t know–but I know Brown’s PLME doesn’t affect your chances for Brown’s regular programs and if you aren’t admitted PLME you may still be admitted to Brown.
It sounds like it varies depending on the college. Are you applying to a lot of different schools?
(Also can’t resist commenting on the fact that I misread this as BDSM at first. :P)
