<p>Is it true that the common app essays are really only read by the undergraduate school and if they think you are a good candidate then the application for the 6/7/8 year is sent to you....the med school people (board or the ones who decide) see only their separate application, recc letters etc? So is it okay to repeat urself in the med supp apps?
Can people who have gotten into combined programs please respond?</p>
<p>Each program is different in application process. Sometime application to apply to BS/MD is by invitation only, sometime you might require to apply to some scholarship to be considered for bs/md. You need to research very carefully requirements for application at each undergrad, they might be different even within the same bs/md program (some of them incorporated several UG’s).</p>
