BS/MD Programs you DON'T lose your spot at/DON'T need to take MCAT

Hey Guys,
I wanted to make a list of BS/MD programs in to four different categories as follows:

1) BS/MD programs that allow you to apply to other medical schools at the end of your UG, WITHOUT you losing your spot at their medical school.

If you could help me categorize the program, that would be a huge help! Thanks! :)

check out http://prestigeobsessed.blogspot.com/

it’s written by a bs md student and he categorizes them by no mcat so that should help :)

the first no mcat one that comes to mind is rice. I think northwestern is like that too

I know Drexel has a mcat requirement but its pretty low, but at Drexel you lose your spot if you apply out.

I would like to point out that PLME does NOT revoke your acceptance to Alpert if you apply out. Instead, should you fail to get into any medical school, you are guaranteed a spot in the closest class year that has space.

(Nor does it require MCAT)

1) wayne state, cincinnati

3) vcu gmed

@ ferredoxin, on that website do you know if the lists are arrange in any special way?

Northwestern HPME, #4.

Anyone know when the OSU med program will be back/why it’s not functioning?

Someone in the OSU program said it might be back 2012-2013.

what about the USC combined program…i heard it won’t be there anymore - like, is it going to come back soon or not?

Wait, sorry, I meant to say that Northwestern HPME is #3!

3)University of Rochester REMS
