These so far are my stats, let me know if I miss anything. I was wondering what bs/md programs you would recommend. I know my stats are not very high, but I am very passionate about wanting to do this. I am a great writer and great with interviews.

If you don’t think bs/md programs are a match please throw out alternative options that you would recommend looking into. I am trying to sort through all my options and find the right path for me, whether that be a bs/md program or an undergraduate institution that will set me up great for medical school. Thanks!

@PVboy2,

A huge determinant of getting interviews or acceptances to BS/MD programs, especially the top-tier ones, will be your standardized test scores, especially since your school does not class rank or tell what segment of the class you fall in. PSAT does not really factor into BS/MD programs unlike an ACT or SAT score, and some of the top ones do require SAT subject exams in certain areas. I’m assuming you’ll be starting junior year later this fall, so you still have a long time to expand on your CV in terms of healthcare experiences, extracurricular activities, research, and awards.

More awards should be coming as a rising junior, same with extracurricular activities which you should try to get leadership positions in. So far, you’re doing great in terms of GPA, so try to maximize the other parts of your application that are weak and which you still need the pieces for.
