So I’m a senior now and I’m applying to a few BS/MD program, like the ones at TCNJ, Rutgers, NJIT, and Drexel. I may also apply to the one at Penn State, although I heard that one is very competitive. I was wondering if you guys could chance me at these programs or even offer any other ones as recommendations
On a 4.0 weighted scale, I have a weighted GPA of 4.02
On the new SAT, I scored a 1500 (700 - English; 800 - Math) - I’m planning on retaking the SAT in October, so hopefully I can get it a little higher.
By the end of senior year I will have taken 10 AP Classes.
I did a lot of volunteering with the clubs at school, but also at the hospital. I’ve done almost 200 hours at the hospital. I plan on doing some shadowing.
Idk I guess that’s it. I mainly want to get into these programs because it’s nice to have the assurance of being admitted into a medical school. I can always follow the regular path to med school but I’m worried about competition that way. My cousins recommended accelerated programs to me. I’m just not sure my grades and EC are good enough to compete with other applicants.
