<p>Can anyone clarify this for me. Based on MSAR data, it says that GWU need three SAT Subject tests in Math, Science and one in English. What do they mena by English?</p>
<p>Also, BU prefers a Subject Test in Foreign Language.</p>
<p>How did you all meet these requirements? Is this a must? Any GWU or BU applicants? Thanks</p>
<p>By English, it most likely means the SAT II in Literature. Not sure about the foreign language though.</p>
<p>act2400, D got interview @ BU --she had Chinese SATII-- i think any FL will do. Also note it’s preferable, NOT mandatory. Hope it helps.</p>

<p>S is a finalist for BU program, has studied 2 foreign languages, one for more than 6 years and the other for 4, and did not take SAT for L. It’s not mandatory.</p>
<p>@act: Well right now, I’m looking at the subject test lists that are on the collegeboard, and the only English related one I see is Literature. The Writing SAT II subject test used to be offered, but then it was just implemented into the regular SAT.</p>
