Hospital Volunteering – 3 years as nursing assistant and tech. Shadowed cardiologists and radiologists at work, assisted nurses in Cardiac Nursing Unit, provided direct patient care, aided MRI technologist in performing MR procedures, ensured a safe environment, served as a liaison between cardiology staff and patients.
Conservation Corporation – Participated in a variety of outdoor conservation work, wrote articles for Local Newspaper, coordinated special events, provided conservation research, completed office tasks.
Cancer Treatment Center- Worked as after-school receptionist, provided support for those affected by cancer, demonstrated a warm, caring and positive attitude for brave cancer patients and survivors.
Peer Jury – Served as a peer jury member for first-time juvenile offenders involved in minor infractions, determined consequences (i.e. Community service, counseling) for criminal actions in confidentiality, contributed to future well-being of offenders with emotional support.</p>

<p>Research:

Experimented with nanotechnology to quantify and analyze protein aggregation of cells (in vitro), researched revolutionary methods of cancer detection, and published paper in scientific journal.</p>

<p>Work Experience:
(Unnamed) Medical Company - Represented company in a variety of medical expositions, served client’s needs with direct client contact, assisted sales representatives in advertising medical equipment such as ultrasounds, filed paperwork for various equipments, organized events and gatherings, contributed to a dynamic and social atmosphere for both clients and co-workers.
English Teacher- Taught English to underprivileged kids from ages 4 to 16 in rural China, translated documents, educated students in sentence structure and vocabulary, donated all proceedings to Autism charity.</p>

<p>Reflection: I have just always loved Boston so much and it’s a respectable Undergrad and Top 30 Med School</p>
