We have a rising sophomore who is interested in applying to BS/MD programs. Lot of these programs have a high GPA requirement like HPME has 3.7 in the undergrad.
Before we invest time and money into several applications, we wanted to understand the stats of students actually matriculating into the medical schools with such high GPA after getting admission to the BS/MD program. Where can we find such stats for such programs? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

In this area, every year 2 threads (discussion, results) are created related to BS/MD programs. Post there and start following to get feel.
3.7 is not high either for BS/MD or regular MD admission.
@GoldenRock
Thank you for your reply. I am new to this forum and trying to find my way around. I will post in the other thread.
I meant 3.7 GPA in undergrad and not in HS. The conditional GPA that you need to get to meet the requirement to matriculate into the MD part in a combined BS/MD program. I have hear that it is tough to get that high GPA in the undergrad and that lot of kids who get into the BS/MD do not successfully meet the criteria to get into the MD portion! So I wanted to look into the stats of that. Please let me know if I can find this somewhere.

Open last year thread
and search HPME and later PLME (at the bottom there is a search icon). That will give various posts related to that search topic.
3.7 is doable at both places for a BS/MD caliber student who gets admitted.
The only BS/MD which was a stretch with highest expectation was UWash and finally they decided to scrap BS/MD from this year and it makes sense.
In general, instead of creating thread, use the yearly discussion thread to post and learn about the BS/MD process.

Thank you once again. I will bookmark these threads.
Also, it is good to hear that 3.7 is doable if kids are capable of getting in!
A college gpa of 3.7 can be doable but not that high for medical schools. There are many, many more capable students than room for them in medical schools.
PLME here, requirement for matriculation to Alpert Med is no grade less than a B in biology classes (Brown does not do +/-) which is extremely easy. All other classes can be taken S/NC (AKA pass/fail).
WASHU and others like Upitt programs have higher GPA requirements than 3.7 so NW is not bad. Still PLME is no stress program but difficult to get in. Unless someone disagrees
You have a rising sophomore and already thinking whether or not 3.7 is doable? I think you should take a break and let the child enjoy the high school and come to the decision of going through this route or the career for that matter on his/her own.
One thing these programs hate is parents exerting unwanted influence on the kids’ career choices, they usually figure that out easily.
BTW HPME is discontinued at this point.
