Bs.md

what are some schools that offer BS/MD programs--the ones that will ensure you a place in a med school?
which are the ones that are hard to keep up in and which are the ones that are not so tough?

thanks

does boston U have this program? is it good?

This link will direct you to all available programs:

<a href="http://services.aamc.org/currdir/section3/degree2.cfm?data=yes&program=bsmd%5B/url%5D">http://services.aamc.org/currdir/section3/degree2.cfm?data=yes&program=bsmd</a></p>

Northwestern and Brown, for example, offer stellar programs without in-state preferences and with very reasonable requirements for advancement through the program. Read the fine print carefully regarding onerous MCAT and/or GPA cutoffs to advance to the medical school (e.g. WashU).

All will be very, very competitive applications, generally at HYP level. Make sure you're ready to commit not 4 but 7-8 years to this decision before doing so - otherwise I'd suggest you travel a more traditional path. There are lots of independent threads on this subject - use the search function.

thanks
if i were to go down the traditional path instead, would boston u be a good choice in terms of academics? is the science there exceptional? i am planning on majoring in neuroscience. i researched and the costs seem to be quite a lot. do they provide a lot of financial aid?

how is the BS.MD program at the university of miami?
btw thanks so much, Bala, for that link!!!
