Basically this type of college program is super selective and its my dream to get into one. The program is basically that you get admission to both med school and undergrad at the same time. the result is a six or seven year medicine program. I was wondering if i had any chance of getting into one of these programs. Here are my stats:

33 act
above 750 on all three of my sat 2's (molecular biology, math 2, and physics)
3.94 GPA
about 370 hrs of volunteering (300+ at a nursing home, 20 + at a hospital, 48 at the library)
3 years of cross country, 4 years of track. 3 years of winter track training, 3 years of cross country camp
attended a minimed school.
im currently taking ap calc ab, ap bio, ap psycology.
I have a lot of weighted classes i took.
I am registered to take the sat on oct 10

I already started applying to univ of Miami, Drexel, UMKC, UIC, george washington, virginia commonwealth. Are there any othe direct programs i can get into. Do i even have a chance at getting in?

why do you want to become a ******** doctor so badly

asheroth,
OP did not ask about our opinion of his career choice.

raflop,
Do not rule out 8 years program. not all combined programs are accelerated. 8 years programs allow you normal college experience and some people prefer that. D. got into 3 programs with similar stats, but it was 2 years ago. Since then some programs at state schools have been cancelled, including hers. So, I imagine that it would be more competition.

pretty good chance I’d say

thanks, ill be sure to apply to some 8 year programs too
