Bs on non core classes?

It looks like I may get a B in engineering class this year, due to the fact that I got a super harsh teacher that grades everything so strictly -.-
There are three engineering teachers in my school and the two of them basically hand out 100s on everything they turn in. But the teacher I got gave me consistent B’s even though in my personal opinion, they weren’t that bad.

I do have solid A’s in all my AP Classes (Calc BC, World, Stats, and Bio) but I have a B in this stupid engineering class.
I also think I might get a B in spanish 4 because I’ve messed up on a test and we only have 3 tests this year >_>
I’ve had all A’s in freshman year and 1st semster of sophomore year.
I go to a relatively challenging school where most students receive 4s and 5s on AP exams.
How will this affect my chances at ivies and other competitive schools?

I know that college admission processes are holistic but how much would it make a difference if I got two Bs this year opposed to getting all As? :frowning: This is stressing me out so much. Thanks in advance.

Ugh getting B’s on these “easy” classes is stressing me so much!
I’m certain I got 5s and 4s on all 4 APs I took this year. (Even though AP exams arent used for admission but still it shows that I’m not a weak student?)

How will these Bs look to admission officers?

Like B’s.

Bingo.

As I am sure you know, many applicants to top schools with 4.0/2400 stats were rejected, and many with lesser stats were accepted. If a college rejects you, it will not be due to a B or 2.

@skieurope
Do you think I should stop stressing over it? Lol

Yup. Channel the energy into your essays/EC’s or just about anything else. Worrying about things over which you have no control is pointless.

try to bring them up (if its still possible) and just move on after
