<p>So looking at colleges for D.... mostly only interested in Direct admit, but some offer BSN other offer BS with Major in Nursing. Whats the difference and which is there any downside to moving on to Grad school with the BS vs BSN... seems that the difference might be where schools have dedicated Schools of Nursing vs having nursing tucked under the science school. I'm confused and think there is a difference. My doctor said he thought the BSN had more science courses supporting the degree. Any optionons?</p>

<p>The important thing is you want to attend an accredited nursing program that makes you eligible to take the national certification test to become a RN.</p>
<p>(For other majors, there are sometimes different offerings between a BA in a subject vs. a BS in the same subject. A BS typically does have more hard-science requirements.)</p>
