My plan is to start on getting a bachelors degree in accounting. Do i have to get a MS in accounting so i can sit in for the CPA exam? Or can i complete the hour requirements and still take the CPA exam while getting an MBA?
Many states require 150 credits to sit for the CPA exam, though not necessarily a master’s degree. Top MBA programs require 2 years of post bachelor’s work experience for admission.
So can i complete the hours while getting my bachelors degree? Im from NY
No, a bachelor’s degree usually requires 120-128 credits. You take the extra credits after graduating unless you have a lot of AP credits.
Thanks for your help!
