A few weeks ago I received an invite to BSAI, which I accepted. However, today I received an invite to LSRW and now I’m not sure which one I should attend.
For anyone who has previously attended BSAI, are there any Latinos there? As a light-skinned hispanic, would I feel out of place at BSAI?
I’ll offer an unconventional suggestion: if finances permit, go to both. While I suspect a lot of the formal programming will probably be somewhat redundant, you’ll return in August with TWO sets of friends and acquaintances. I believe both weekends are at least as much about introducing lifelong friends as “things Duke.”
^I second his solution. Given that fiances permit AND the admissions office did not make a mistake in sending you both invitations, go and learn more about the Duke community.
