BSME vs BSE with Mechanical concentration

Maybe some cc'er can explain this to me... I'm interested in Loyola Maryland but noticed that their Mechanical Engineering program actually awards a BS in Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical. How does this differ from a straight BSME that one would receive from another college?

Also, under ABET their BSE program is accredited so does that mean that the concentrations are also?

ABET:
Engineering, B.S.E.Accredited, 10/01/1989-Present
Accredited By: Engineering Accreditation Commission
Criteria [?]: Engineering, Engineering Physics & Engineering Science Engineering

Thanks!

That is common at small departments. You want to compare the available courses with those at schools where a standalone mechanical engineering department and major exists.
