Hi, I’m a Latin American pharmacy and biochemistry student at the 2nd best university in my country (it is ranked as 701-750 at QS World University Ranking). I am an author on one scientific paper research (currently working on another one), I’ve participated in 2 science-related volunteering, I write at my university journal, I have a small position at my university’s student pharmacy association, I’ve participated in a science club briefly and I have some certificated courses/conferences that I took/attended besides my university classes. However, my GPA is 3.3 due to some family issues. I intend to apply to a BSN 2nd degree or accelerated programs. Do I stand a chance to get into a good program? Can I re-take some pre-requisite classes? My grades were very low at my 2nd and 3rd(years I took the courses that I’ve found they are pre-requisite) year of uni, but the last 2 yrs and a half they really improved (years I took mostly clinic related courses)
