<p>I just got in off the waitlist for Arts and Sci at NYU, and I’m having a LOT of trouble picking between NYU and BU Biomed. BME at BU is one of the top 10 in the country, but NYU is a fantastic liberal arts school. Financial details are the same for both schools, and I like both locations equally. </p>
<p>Any help would be great.</p>
<p>Well, if you like both equally and price isn't a concern, I'd pick NYU--It'll give you a better overall education even if BU's program is better ranked. Also, NYU definitely has better name recognition.</p>
<p>It sounds like at NYU you wouldn't be doing BME though and BME is a really hot new field. Minimal canpus at BU but zero at NYU. My s chose BU over NYU but it really came down to Boston being a true college town. NYU is a great school too though. What do you like about each one?</p>

<p>BU also has Boston around it which is arguably the Biomedical/Biotechnology center of the US if not the world. The number of jobs and internships you'll be able to find for Biomed at BU will dwarf NYU's options.</p>
<p>Yeah, the internships definitely give BU an advantage.</p>

<p>And BU is building that new NIH funded Bio Lab in the Boston area but but it is off campus.</p>
