I’m going to take my sat 2 in november.

Played football throughout highschool. 2 year jv 2 year varsity.
Wrestled throughout highschool as well. 2 year jv and 2 year varsity.

I was in 2 clubs throughout highschool.

How can I boost my chances?

Your stats seem pretty good for BU. I would really study for the SATs and try to break 2000, 2050 would be a pretty safe score to have.

As for boosting your chances, be sure to focus a lot on the university in your supplement when you apply via CommonApp. Think about why you want to go to BU over any other school, what BU has to offer that other places don’t offer (do NOT mention how much you want to go to school in Boston, they loathe that).

Thank you !

You are fine with the SAT. Definitely retake and see how you do. My friend was accepted to BU for sophomore year on a guaranteed transfer. She had a ridiculous GPA over a 4.0 but only a 1650 on the SAT. I believe she also took the SAT II in US and scored a 690/700. If you’re concerned about test scores take the ACT too. It’s easier and a better format than the SAT, IMO.

Just get your GPA up a bit. Remember that if you took easy classes it won’t look good, but if you have taken AP/honors classes then it makes much more of a difference. A 90 GPA on that scale is good! Good luck.
