@jjohnross i believe it doesnt mean anything? What did you get on your test scores? I got a 29 and got access denied. My brother who applied for the Trustee Scholarship still has access denied.

@yoga99 Yes, still have access to housing portal. The applicant link has gone back to the “Thank you…” message.
Checked my son’s portal and it’s back to the Thank You message again at 4:30 pm EST

I double checked from last years RD thread, there were students who had access denied from the housing link prior to decisions and were still accepted. So, I don’t believe there is much correlation to final decisions.
Nothing is final/guaranteed until they officially release decisions but logging into a system and seeing ‘New Student’ tells you a lot. Of course BU tech people with all their spare time could set up something fake just to mess with people but seriously people don’t have time for that. At this point Occam’s razor comes in play.
Not being able to log into the Housing system tells you less. It’s a separate application (StarRez) and gets it’s information form the main Student Information System(SIS). It may be updated in small batches to minimize load to the production SIS.

Can you guys chance me please??? I don’t have access to the housing portal so I’m getting nervous. I just got rejected from northeastern yesterday but I got into BC early action. 1370 sat, many ap classes, 4.53 weighted gpa, class rank approx. 4/240, many extracarriculars, lots of leadership, decent essay, good recommendations. Do I have a good chance?
@ktf1117 My guess would be that if you got into BC, chances are probably very good that you will get into BU
