Last night I was able to get into the housing portal but it only said summer term. I logged into the housing portal today and it says “academic year” with congratulations on your acceptance to Boston University. So???
Wait, what times do decisions come out? I thought they were coming out later in March?
my housing portal now has academic year 2017-2018 and summer session 2017

Same as william above last night I only had summer and now I have academic year as well, and upon clicking on the link it says congratulations on your acceptance. I really don’t like to read into things but this must be some sort of a good sign right?

Also have the congratulations! I’m not getting to happy yet, still wary from the UCSD housing trick that turned out to be fake, but I really really hope that it does mean that I was accepted.

Also now have a congratulations letter of acceptance to BU on the housing portal which wasn’t there yesterday.
What link are you clicking on? Dtr still shows on the page just as “new student” with a bu email. No congrats or year.

omg I found it! Well that certainly looks authentic, no? It would seem odd that a school could post anything on their website that is so easily accessible if it’s not for real…
@CathJR Applicants from UC San Diego could determine last year whether they were accepted or not by applying for housing through the housing portal. This year people thought it would work again, but a lot of people for whom the trick worked were still rejected, and some for whom the trick didn’t work were accepted.

i also have access denied and no offense but i highly doubt that i’d be rejected…
