@quiteabeaan mine says we would welcome the opportunity to discuss this option with you. I’m just confused if this is offering admission or trying to get my to reapply as a transfer in a year.
@quiteabeaan do you mind copy/pasting that paragraph?
Rejected with 34 ACT, 3.86 UW GPA. Got accepted to Northeastern honors, RPI, UMiami, UF, and UCF. I’m a lil disappointed.
@paveyourpath
Yep. It’s sad but true. I really love BU and with only a tiny scholarship it would’ve been affordable.
Just sad that they didn’t even tell me that I didn’t get a scholarship. Wrote quite a bit of extra essays.
Accepted!
4.2 W GPA
2220/2400 Old SAT
@ccoryat21 mine says the same thing
uh oh we’re having another irvine moment it seems
Rejected - not that upset; I knew I wasn’t going to be able to afford BU anyway, and it wasn’t my top school by any means, but a little nervous because most of the other schools I applied to were more selective than BU. I do know that different schools look for different things, though, so we’ll see. Congratulations to all who were accepted!!!
Rejected with a 4.6 WGPA and 1400 SAT… so sad because I really liked BU and thought my essays were pretty good congratulations to everyone that got in though
Anyone who was rejected- was there a paragraph after suggesting that you could come for sophomore year?
Accepted…Big relief after a few big rejections this week…looking forward to be in BU soon

Anyone get into kilachand?
and omg all the people who got rejected are so qualified!!! Must be tufts syndrome
AllyssXx, the fact that you do not have a financial aid tab suggests that decision is not made, rather than “you get zero”. It may be simply time to post. It may be that they either do not have the info to calculate your EFC (expected family contribution), or have the requested info but have not decided how to calculate, given your international “euro” country.
Do not get despondent, there are instructions on how to talk to the financial aid folks, get a note drafted, ask for clarification. It may feel hard, challenging, despairing, take a deep breath, and work through it. No decisions need to be made this minute.
Accepted with presidential scholarship!
Does anyone have any info about the honors college?

Accepted at Northeastern and UMass Amherst honors college
Rejected at Tufts and Boston College
Rejected to BU but accepted into BC.
My letter started out as a rejection but then switched to “For these reasons, you are one of a select group of students to whom we are offering guaranteed admission as a transfer student” for the 2018 fall semester…
@quiteabeaan Same. What are your stats?
