@SohaParvez appealing is basically asking the university to reconsider their decision. For example, you can appeal the admission decision (if you are rejected or waitlisted) but in this case I want to appeal their financial aid offer to see if they can offer me more financial aid! If they don’t, I won’t be able to attend

Weight listed, was not very passionate in the “Why BU” essay. Applied to film major at school of communication… 1330 SAT, 4.2 GPA. I guess it just wasn’t meant to be, but congrats to everyone that got in!

Screen said “Thank you…” and declined access to housing pre-decision so that isn’t related to decision.

accepted- 1520 SAT, 4.0 UW GPA, 14 AP courses w/ 8 5s so far, quality ECs and strong essays… no honors college, some aid but still rather expensive. will consider but probably will not attend

Probably didn’t hurt that I had an interview with the Executive Director of Admissions–yay demonstrated interest!
