My BU transfer credit evaluation places all my credits as UNASSIGNED. I called and found that I have to go to school and check with every department as to which of my credits replace any specific course of theirs, including those for the non-major curriculum like those in Divisional Studies.

Phew.

So, those of you who have transfered credit, was it easy? I am worried that in the worst case scenario, all of my credits will only be allowed to be ELECTIVES, which effectively makes me transferring to BU a VERY VERY BAD idea.

Also, do I have to APPLY to major in Biomedical Engineering (or to the Engineering faculty)? I am currently set to be in the CAS.

yeah the CAS transfer kids have those little green sheets that they have to go around and get everyone to sign. its a pain but not really a big deal. its doesn't necessarily mean that you won't get those credits, its just that you have to take the time to see what class it corresponds to and then get someone to sign it, instead of an office doing it for every transfer student. COM does it for you. And yes you have to apply for intra university transfer, i'm not sure how it works for engineering. normally you have to take an engineering class and then apply and you'll get in based on your grade in that class ors omething. bu website probably has all of that info!
