<p>Hey, I just signed up to volunteer for the admissions office as a day host. If you aren’t familiar with day hosting, high school students sign up and us volunteers select students with similar academic areas of interest and take them around campus for an approx. 4 hour period. This would occur on any school day Mon-Thurs so that the prospective student has a chance to sit in on a class, eat in the dining hall, and just hang out on campus. Gives high school students a great insiders perspective on the school and what it is like to be a student here at BU. If any of you guys are ever interested in coming to BU and scheduling a day host meeting, let me know! I can take anyone who is interested in SHA (hospitality marketing), SMG (business statistics), or CAS (philosophy). So yeah, just let me know if anyone is interested, and give me your name or something so that when I see the list of students signed up, I can pick you off the list and hopefully give you a nice introduction to life at BU.</p>
<p>i'm also a day host, as well as an overnight host. for overnight, you'd come to campus at 4 pm and stay in your host's dorm for the night (bring a sleeping bag). if u sign up to be hosted in the day program, you'll sit in on a class and eat lunch in one of BU's dining halls. in the overnight program, you'll be able to see more of the social life and dorm experience - and perhaps attend your host's extracurricular activities.</p>

<p>for the day and overnight programs, i can take anyone interested in COM (mainly film and tv), psychology, and philosophy. and just for this semester, i can also take u to my CFA acting for non-majors class. if you're staying overnight, i can show u the juggling club and BUTV club. oh, and you'll have to be a guy for me to host u for overnight.. lol.</p>
<p>and like devilsrule is doing, if you'd like for me to host u, private message me and let me know. and just so you're not confused, u don't have to know your host before u sign up for the program. few people do. if your interests don't match mine or devilsrule's, there's bound to be another volunteer who will find u. =)</p>
