Can you link me to that?
Haha wow what an awesome story! COngrats!

Link you to what exactly? lol sorry
And thanks!
To everyone else reading what I posted before, I didn’t mean to sound like a know it all with it. I just hope it helps! :)

I was ED and got into CGS!

I had a 3.57 hs unweighted gpa I was secretary of Beta Club, in SGA, Key, Debate I worked 3 jobs. My ACT was a 26 i think.

Plus I have done 62 credit hrs in college classes; my school is 5yrs in those 5yrs we get an associates degree along with our hs diploma its an early college high school we have those in nc i think there is something similar in NY.

I really think that my essay is what super helped me. Everyone who read my essays and supplements said it was maj apparent that I wanted to be at BU.

hlg2525:

fashionisto:
thats awesome! you deserve it. congrats. i hope i can say that tooo soon!

So, I finally checked my BU account today (I haven’t checked it since I applied), and it says, “Our records indicate that review of your application for admission is complete. Please be aware that all applicants are expected to submit senior grades as soon as they are available.”

I’m just checking…does everyone have this message on their account? I’m not sure what it means exactly. I did send in my mid-year report, but maybe they didn’t receive it?

^If they had not rec’d your mid-year report, they would have called for it by now. Most importantly, the statement about the review of your application being complete shows that they have you MYR.

Oh okay, thanks. So, even though the review of my application is complete, my admission decision will only be released at the end of March/beginning of April?

I don’t have a link. sorry. I found out by getting information in the mail. I’m sure you can call or email the admissions office and they’ll be able to let you know

Anyone get the email tonight from Ms. Walter, Dir. of Admissions, reminding about checking their account for decisions, reiterating student ID #, and invite to call her, and “best wishes for success.” I realize that it may have gone out to everyone, but there’s no chirping on CC about it. Check your inboxes for a message between 9-10 pm EST.

Yeah I got that email too.

This is going to be the longest month waiting for decisions…

Does anyone know why they have already made some decisions regarding applications, but refuse to release them for about another month?

I got that email as well. I think it was sent to all applicants. It made me nervous though, so I immediately checked my account, but it still says the same thing.

@szz2012: I know…I was wondering the same thing. It seems like they have already made a decision for me, but won’t let me know until April.

@tennis101 same here! went to check my account even though i knew the decision is not out yet…

Lol…well, I guess we’re all nervous at this time of the year. I need to stop thinking about college for the next month.

Does anyone know when we need to put BU as our number one school to get the NMF scholarship? Because if I remember correctly, it is before they let us know the decision on our application.

It was by march 1st

Wait, so it’s not possible to change the number one choice for NMF after decisions come out? I’m not even sure if I’ll get in to the college I put down as my number one choice…

Well you can change your choice but i dont believe you can get the scholarship bu offers after this deadline

Oh okay, thanks.

That’s dumb, looks like I’m not going to BU. There’s no way I would ever put somewhere as my number one not knowing if I got in or not.
